The Matrix 1999
The montage is great, and the special effects are far beyond the level that we experience today, even in the current era of multimillion-dollar blockbuster films. The style is amazing and the action scenes are impeccable, leaving me in awe. The music and sound are also excellent.
Unfortunately my head can’t get around the plot holes. Like: why would the humans blacken the sky’s given that it would also kill them? How the humans can have a new ability uploaded into their brains? If it is a computer simulation, why doesn’t the computer stop the resistance, since it could acknowledge everything that happens inside the simulation?Translated from by

I liked the way the movie mocks religion and politics, putting them same by side.
I find bong joon ho's creatures always very appealing (ever since Okja). To me, they convey a sense of appreciation for the natural world, and the unknown and marvelous things that can exist on our planet (or maybe, some place else).
The story is quite entertaining, touching themes of life and death, regret, love, all with the great mastery of Joon Ho.Translated from by -
