  i went to see Anora after it’s Oscar’s success to see what the fuss was about and i wasn’t disappointed. I didn’t expect it but this movie really stuck with me for the days and week after I saw it, I still can’t quite pinpoint why, is it the euphoria of the ‘greatest day’ scene or the heartbreak of seeing ‘Ani’ given a taste of a better life and class-mobility then having it torn away from her? maybe the biggest takeaway of the movie is how little the 1% care for the other 99….
