an achingly lonely film, filled with such painful longing and yearning- as well as profoundly beautiful. the only thing that stops this from being 5 in my eyes is that the film lost me in the 3rd part, but it very gracefully brought me back in in the 4th. daniel craig is fantastic.

I revisited this movie after being utterly obsessed with it as a child. Despite that obsession I could remember maybe like. Two of the ten million plot points. Going back to it now makes me wonder how in the name of god my parents let me watch this movie. It is utterly insane. They call the mouse hitler. They make a racist lion king joke. A corpse flies down a manhole into the sewer and a man dies after ingesting…
