Beautiful looking sci-fi tale that is weird in the best possible way. Some of the satire and social commentary is sharp and biting, some is a little too obvious and on the nose, but it never once stops being entertaining. Also shows that perhaps one can never have too many Robert Pattinsons. Recommended.

Funeral in Berlin 1966
It's a decent cold war spy thriller, but it doesn't have the pace or flair as the Ipress File. Michael Caine is always watchable as Harry Palmer.

Sanjuro 1962
A sequel to Kurosawa's seminal Yojimbo, Sanjuro is a funny, action-packed and technically brilliant samurai adventure featuring outstanding cinematography and a winning performance from Toshiro Mifune. He basically goes around calling everyone idiots which is no bad thing. I actually prefer it to Yojimbo.

The Florida Project 2017
Down and out in the magic kingdom. A stark slice of life from the viewpoint of a small girl who lives with her mother in a sleazy motel in spitting distance of Disneyland. Featuring an understated and brilliant turn by Willem Dafoe as Bobby the motel manager, the adventures that the kids get up to gave me flashbacks to growing up in Salford in the 70s. A film that is definitely worth your time.
