Apocalypse Now 1979
Big explosions and cool shots but other than that, I absolutely hated this. I guess I just kept asking myself the question, do we need to humanise those committing war crimes and crimes against humanity? Maybe it has its uses, but this definitely isn’t the way.
With everything happening in the world at the moment - in 30 years time if a film comes out showing the horrible conditions, insanity and traumatic experiences endured by the IDF soldiers in Gaza today, without a single Palestinian having a line of dialogue, I would hate that film just as much as I hated this.
