i balled my eyes out like a fucking baby throughout the entire second half of the film 😭 a tender and loving film that would tug on the heart strings of any hopeless romantic.

this film was so different and such a refreshing change from the previous 2 installments of the X trilogy by Ti West! i think the film excelled in keeping the audience engaged and on your toes throughout the entirety of the film. if i were to describe this film in one word, it’d be exhilarating. an incredibly adrenaline-filled, fun and campy film. the faithfulness to the american 80s aesthetic and culture in set and costume design was absolutely delightful as well. thank you Ti West for this show-stopping trilogy of films, i have thoroughly enjoyed this journey with Pearl and Maxine. SHE’S A FUCKING STAR!!!!!
