Mad God 2021
Phil Tippet’s masterpiece. This film is an entire class of philosophy, shot direction, stop motion positioning and lighting. The art design and creative vision for this film is so thick that it practically drips out of it. One of the best pieces of stop motion video ever produced, and although the material can be considered disturbing, the concept and execution is pretty much second to none. There are no other films that I’ve ever seen or heard of that tackle the same subject matter as Mad God, and I doubt very much that anyone else will be ambitious enough to attempt something like it again.
