I did media studies for 9 whole months so believe me when I say……this is perfect writing. raging that this film didn’t get the recognition it should have. im not even someone who listens to the Beatles regularly, but i can acknowledge the significant impact they had on music and pop culture. this film captures that legacy phenomenally, celebrating the Beatles’ music and recognising it’s importance to this day.

one of those films that lowkey changed my life for a split second there. because why tf was i watching all these characters deal with the realities of sick and estranged family members, poverty, death, etc and thinking “maybe i SHOULD have children actually…” that’s when you know a film has captured something special.
THIS IS WHY EVOLUTION IS MY FAVOURITE THING IN THE WORLD. i cried no less than 4 times. life is so heartbreaking but it’s so so so beautiful. i love life so much 🩷
