I didn’t expect to like this movie at all but, alas, I LOVED IT. Is it a good movie? Couldn’t tell you. Did I have the time of my life watching it? YES. It was somehow a conspiracy theory, a sci-fi horror (with a wonderfully fantasy ‘lost in the woods’ feel that most movies like this would shy away from but added so much), and an incredibly sweet romance all at once. This movie is like if they made a…

This was such an enjoyable movie!! I love spending $13 at the movie theater and not regretting it!!!!

Ke Huy Quan did not make his legendary comeback just to hurt his back carrying this movie. Where was the chemistry? Why did literally everyone else act like they had never read a script before? Why was the script so bad??? We truly may never know.
Ke Huy Quan you were amazing babe loved your sweater

Movie ended and I depersonalized so hard it triggered a panic attack. Feeling very normal and cool about the way I Saw The TV Glow represents repressing your identity, gender dysphoria/euphoria, obscure shows as escapist lifelines, and the complete and overwhelming feeling that something about your life is fundamentally wrong. Gut wrenching, jarring, painful. I will never forget the tenderness in the scene of Maddie drawing the ghost onto Owen’s neck. This movie is a catalogue of feelings I thought could not be communicated through film.
