One of the better biopics made in recent years. Truly a gem of a movie.
The pacing of the movie is perfect and some of the lines/deliveries are close to perfect.
I think the film nailed the balance of making Zuckerberg insufferable but still a clearly a brilliant genius and an occasionally sympathetic character.
However, Rooney Mara’s breakup is truly them most iconic and important part of this movie.
Also they should when dropped the “the” in the movie title. Would have made it cleaner.
I’m giving a deux for this
Todd Phillips made the movie he wanted to. He pretty much says: “oh you didn’t hear me the first time” and quadruples down on his intended message. It’s just a shame it’s so damn boring.
Don’t get me wrong, this is a beautiful movie. The sets and shots are top top quality. Gaga and Phoenix are great but cant make this enjoyable to sit through.
This is not the way I wanted the movie…
Not clever just fucking weird.
A collection of over the top nonsense.
Trying too hard but just too twisted to be anything other than weird slop.
