Financially struggling father has an hour long crash out over a stolen bike and harasses multiple citizens. But seriously a great film. The depiction of post-WWII Italy and the poverty many families experienced is very interesting and rarely seen. I also thought the child acting with Bruno was amazing regarding how “adult” he seems at such a young age.
