Moneyball 2011
A classic David vs Goliath sports movie. However, what makes this unique and, in my humble opinion, more immersive is how the whole movie is focused on ‘behind the scenes’ of Baseball, rather than the sport itself. By focusing on this, the pressures and emotional turmoil associated with being at the helm of a sports team were made crystal clear, creating incredible tension and anticipation for the audience.
This film is a right corker and well worth a butcher's.

De Niro played his part superbly with his portrayal of one of the most dislike-able lead characters in cinema history. The jealousy De Niros character had led to many uncomfortable scenes, especially during the beatings of his wife, evoking an emotional reaction from myself.
