This movie has nothing new to say, but presents itself in a way that feels pretentious and attempting to subvert the franchise.

Fun fact: one of my great great great (probably more) Grandpas fought with the British in Tarelton's Cavalry.
The British didn't load people into churches and burn them alive. Showing a South Carolina plantation without slavery is also a crazy choice.
