  While I feel like this movie had a lot of beautiful scenes and themes that are unique in mainstream media, I felt unimpressed with the writing and performances throughout it. Many of the lines came off as cheesy or fake deep. The pacing also felt clunky and the fourth wall breaks were not a good fit. Overall, this movie still has things going for it, but it’s rave reviews seem to come from its willingness to explore a new topic rather than its quality. I personally found We’re All Going To The World’s Fair much more compelling.
