Really enjoyed the cinematography, especially the shot of him at the golfing range. Concept of the story was nice - two lost souls in a foreign country at different times in their life bonding over the fact they’re lost.
I don’t feel like they did the Japanese culture any justice in the film though. I like when places in films feel like one of the main characters and was expecting it with this film too. But it felt more like a side character, very shallow and only there to drive the main characters together. Shame because Japan has such a rich culture to include!
