  The Brutalist 2024

  Part 1 is a borderline masterpiece! 

  Part 2 is still good but unfortunately, nowhere near the heights of the 1st. 

  Overall, a great film that kept me fully engaged throughout the whole runtime. The whole cast was amazing but a big shoutout to Joe Alwyn; one of my favourite performances in a long time.

  Chapters 1 and 2 were great but it fell off a cliff in Chapter 3 when they explored the jungle. Completely lost me after that.

  What a huge disappointment.

  Nothing got me emotionally invested with the story and 20/30 minutes could easily be cut from the runtime.

  Most of the dialogue was weird to me and the climate change scene was so random. Honestly, the cast performances were pretty mediocre too.

  Resulting in a poor and abrupt ending, this was unfortunately a pretty forgettable watch.
