Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh were both good in this but felt like we were supposed to be sold simply because they were the main characters.
Story really didn’t sell me on the sadness of their journey. Film was beautiful, though wish scenes were expanded a bit more to push the connection with the audience and their love story.
Also felt like pivotal moments were left out. Missed potential sadly.
I said half way through the movie, “this could totally be longer…”
Got what I asked for with a ‘To be continued’ :(

Don’t Worry, Darling has a fascinating story and plot, and I think the third act is the strongest part of the film. The lead up to that, however, is a bit slow. The story also leaves us with a few unanswered questions. Besides those few complaints, DWD is an enjoyable, psychological thriller!
