Lots of similarities to nights of cabiria. In the same way with igor you’re wondering if he’s a good guy or not. Ending was ambiguous in a good way. Don’t know exactly how to interpret it.

I think one interpretation for this film is that it is a metaphor for art/meditation (David lynch practices both)
1. It’s like riding a horse that is constantly trying to buck you off. The film deliberately evades being understood. This is like trying to capture an idea for art, or maintain concentration when meditating.
