Anxiety inducing, The Cut-Ups is a fast-paced unravel of images. The only audio is a non-stopping flow of "Hello ? Yes ? Thank You ! Where are we now ? Good ! Look at that picture ! Does it seems to be persisting ?". A smart choice in fact, the movie is always checking if you're watching, and the permanent audio mixed with the dozen of images blasted at you each 3 seconds creates an hypnotic sensation.
