I think I personally resonate with the themes of this film. That life can be difficult as a black person but not for the reasons that people prefer to hear. And as always, it is refreshing for me to hear dialogue written by writers who look like me.
The words go down smoother in my ears.

excellent film
My favourite scene was when they were driving through a blazed forest. after all the “what type of america rhetoric” it reminded me of when the ku klux klan used to light fires to instill fear into the hearts of african americans. it also made me thing of pyres and how some burn the dead.
