  Very good archival work. I am glad that someone put in the effort to capture the essence of Leipzig East on film. But you know what would be remarkable? Using Arabic music, Turkish music, or the sounds of the many talented Iranian musicians... That would complement the documentary's apparent celebration of diversity. The soundtrack was there to romanticize the narrative instead of reflecting the rich cultural residency presented.

  Despite this, I really appreciate the movie. Maybe copyright or financial constraints…

  Great combination of text and picture although the writing doesn't accompany the images but it's introduced beyond them. The colors of the city and how Marguerite Duras utters the words smoothly, yet in a deep intensity, create a poetic atmosphere in which you already find yourself on a quest.
