Life of Brian 1979
My position as a Jewish woman, nay, a human, requires of me to recognise this film as an imperialist plot. Offensive in every imaginable way. Putting humanity aside however, this is a faultless film. It feels like it was improvised by middle aged middle class fathers on LSD and the film is better off for it. I would have loved to have been in the writers room. Minus half a star so that this review doesn’t become my demise if I’m ever in the public eye.
