tbh the only thing stopping me from giving this a full 5 stars is the fact that it doesn’t even come CLOSE to passing the bechdel test, still a great movie tho

Apart from the rocky start when Ryan Gosling threatens to kill himself if Rachel McAdams doesn’t go on a date with him (omg hahah so cute when guys do that isn’t that so silly😍) their love story is very sweet in many ways, literally made me cry during the nursing home scenes, still a wild way to break the ice with a girl like bro why in mother fucking hell would you do that💀

This movie could have been so much more than what it ended up being. The whole storyline with the dreams was actually interesting to me, I just don’t understand how it turned into “Hey sandy is actually evil because she killed the men who abused her, she was totally selfish and went crazy”
…how did we focus more on her being a villain than Jack? A good chunk of the storylines were left open without a proper closure. The only thing Sandy did wrong was go after Eloise and John, the rest in my opinion was mostly, if not completely justified😭Translated from by -
