A satisfying and breezy whodunit film. The caricatured characters are indicative of trends in recent film/tv series catered around bad things happening to rich people which can be amusing to watch in this political climate. However there are pockets of time where it drags and where exposition is lengthy.

The beginning of the film is more action-oriented rather than expository and coupled with the era of production, it leads some of the scenes to look somewhat unrealistic. The second and third acts are the most powerful through its use of cinematography and sound. The camera is so immersive in the chaos. The use of scores, ticking clocks, and the constant propaganda espoused by the French military through megaphones effectively showcase the intensity. As the film ends, we see that the state may murder revolutionaries, but the revolution will never die.

THE ANIMATION WAS INSANE??? all the different styles and use of comic aspects especially side by side panels was incredible. I wanted more Jessica Drew but hopefully she has more appearance next movie. Also we need Silk/Cindy!! I wish the ending was bit more conclusive, but I had such a fun time.

I’m not sure if fir trees is the correct translation or if he named the foreign trees properly, but it reminds me of an article I read about newly planted pines trees by Isr@el. If olive trees represented Palestinians and their steadfastness, pine trees…
