    I stumbled across this movie on Mubi, and had never heard of it although it was released in 2016. I've seen the lead actor in a recent award winning Chinese movie set in more recent decades (Ash Is The Purest White) and thought maybe they could teach him movie-fu fighting to pull it off. But wow, this guy brought the thunder with him and it was an amazing experience to behold.

    Off the cuff thoughts: I want to give this movie lots of points for staying true to The Wolfman vibe, having a great moonlit cinematography, sad music over the credits, and just staying true to its colors.     I read this story the summer before 8th grade and I've loved it ever since. A great opportunity to introduce new audiences to this classic Stephen King story (his second novel) was wasted trying to cram it all in as a movie. This was a long rich story and these days people like a good mini series so I don't know how this happened. At this point, go read the book!
