  why is the emerald city so DULL? it should be so VIBRANT that it HURTS to look at! I should have to put on SUNGLASSES to look at my TV!

  I genuinely remember watching the musical on stage and having to squint because it was so fuckin bright and shiny. also they gave them all silly little glasses through the rest of the film, why can’t they have their funky tiny green shades for the emerald city :(

  it’s giving Swindle (2013) if murder was allowed on Nickelodeon 

  the good:
  - the costume/hair/makeup depts went off 
  - the sets and the cgi look cool

  the bad: 
  - everything else
  - the dialogue/actually having the last line of the entire film be a ‘yo mama’ joke
  - the words ‘mecha boom boom’ being used to describe a cyborg(?) character having sex
  - That Irish Accent

  no but seriously the plot is stupid and makes no sense, the pacing is…
