The Descendants 2011
Wow just a beautiful ending not only to the movie, but to such a complicated relationship that Matt had with his wife and that his daughters had with their mom. It was such introspective into what would you do a situation like this. My only critique is I wished they explored the relationships more between Matt and his daughters or even between the daughters themselves. It seemed like they were somewhat exploring that but then didn’t flesh it out enough, but maybe that’s the realism of life that the director was trying to accomplish.
