  Introduced Harleigh to this tonight and just… goddamn what a fun film. Jackie and Tucker have great chemistry, the script is fun and the action’s great. What more do you want???

  I… don’t really know where to begin with this. RP is great, truly, but he, Colette, and Ruffalo are in a different movie to everybody else. It felt like a lot of the British actors didn’t understand the sensibility Ho was going for, and so their performances are stilted, and unsuited to the film. The final third almost feels like a take on Starship Troopers, but far less successful than that movie. There’s too much going on here for such a simple plot; you could easily cut 30 minutes and have the same movie but better. A disappointing time at the movies!
