I like how the characters walked out of frame and then the room would be left empty but the shot doesn’t move or cut to the conversation, we just hear it through the wall or from the original room. That happened a few times and it was cool
Also really cool camerawork with whip pans during the first date and the slow pans between each plate during the second date
This took 15 months to film with a $3 mil budget, but I think Chungking Express was better and it had no budget and 2 months to work with…
Mostly just loved this editing and cinematography
