Saltburn 2023
New year, new letterboxd motivation.
Saltburn was okay, don't love the gimmick where the protagonist/ antagonist explains the opening using a current voiceover to refer to events in the past, but at least this one was done with a bit of a twist.
Thought the script was genuinely funny (is this a dark comedy?) and obviously if you're setting a film in a location like Saltburn you have ample opportunity to have beautiful shots and boy did they have fun…
