This is not a perfect movie… But I refuse to give looper anything less than 5 stars it’s my die hard. It hits just the right level of camp and seriousness. After watching 2/3rds of this movie I was able to drop it and not think about it for the rest of the day so, not the most compelling. The upside I suppose is the acting by Austin Butler, but even that is tarnished by the extremely shallow ways that the movie tries to make us care about it’s protagonist. That alongside the ADHD inducing edits that make my head spin, a lot of the “acting” is offput by Tom Hanks…
