Can't believe I've never watched this before. Great film. Spencer Tracey is fantastic, of course. It's also just as relevant today as it ever was.

A difficult watch at times but a very good film. Zac Efron is excellent.

Nice animation for a small team. It has some good rotoscoping in it for some action scenes, although the budgetry constraints are visible in some throughout the film.

It covers the broad strokes of Jesus's story and brushed over a few things I wish it would have gone into a little deeper, or at all in some cases. It seems a little slanted in its view and I wish it showed more of the intricacies of the story in general. It started in an interesting way though and finished strongly. Soo all in all it was fine but nothing you haven't really heard before.

One of Arnie's comeback films after being Governor. It gets off to a shaky start in the first 10 minutes but it ramps up quite a bit and stays there for most of the film. Arnie puts the work in and he still carries great physicality.
It's thin on the ground story-wise but has a lot of action, exaggerated blood splatter, some nice set pieces and some witty dialogue. It's a film very much from a different time and once you're on board with that it's entertaining.
The best thing about this film is Luis Guzmán being allowed to be something other than a bartender.
