What a gorgeous film. Felt like I was there but thank God I wasn’t. And I think a top 3 score from Hans for me. Acting ATE. But let’s pls appreciate the animals’ acting too bc that was so impressive.

Fast plot, beautiful score, and overall just such a fun watch. A “changed my life” film for me. Jaw dropped so many times. Countless legendary one-liners. And the romance!!! Society just doesn’t do it like that anymore.
The book is THICK like 1200 pages, and I feel the movie is appreciated even more if you have read the book. There are certain moments where having the full lore would hit so much harder.
