this one is actually good. gathering everyone from around the world was cool, the fight scene was awesome, and the fake out was even cooler. still think the jacob + renesmee thing is weird as heck though… especially with the dang cgi face! this is the best plot and execution of all the movies though for sure

trying to separate the movie from the book is hard because i just spent the whole week reading it and the amount of details that were left out was so disappointing. most all of the details of the relationships and character developments were stripped simply because there wasn’t enough time. was the story told? yes! and it’s a great story! but the depth that it could have gone into to explain things better was not there. acting was great, casting was perfect, and snow is the opposite of cold (lol) but i’m sad trying to compare it to the book. suzanne collins lands on top!

reading the prequel rn so rewatching the series as i finish the book and MAN it is so good. this movie is visually appealing with the cast and the camera angles and it’s just so nicely done. story is so good but is missing half a star bc some things are left out from the book. nonetheless i could really watch this movie anytime. it is SO GOOD.
