I’m never really a fan Netflix of originals, but I really enjoyed this. Its clear to see that it’s practically another version of “Murder on the Orient Express”, but I didn’t mind it.
I liked that the murderer(s) were not obvious from the outset, and throughout you start to suspect different people. Plus it’s actually funny in general and the jokes aren’t forced.

This is gonna be a long one so buckle up.
Okay so it starts off with some random guy knocking on someone elses door with a gun threatening them. He proceeds to shoot the door, leaving a hole in it, but then just kicks it open and walks inside.
What was the actual point in shooting the door if its weak enough to be knocked open.
Fair enough the purpose of the gun was so add tension and fear but…
Typically horrror films won’t actually frighten me as much like this one did. They become instantly boring when you can predict a jump scare or what will happen next, this one took me completely by surprise.
The whole thing was quite menacing, and the ending just added to that.
As a huge Les Mis fan I was pleased to find that the music was performed perfectly, particularly “One Day More”, “Drink With Me” and “Do You Hear The People Sing”.
Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway and Helena Boham Carter were great choices and suited the roles they played perfectly, but I can’t say the same for Russell Crowe (Javert) and Eddie Redmayne (Marius) as their performances fell flat for me.
