The story is basic, but it serves well as the scaffolding for what is effectively a showcase of excellently choreographed fights. As far as martial arts go, I think this has the best choreography of 2024. There are a few instances of genuinely shocking brutality, but they are used sparingly to better achieve the desired effect of making the viewer say "holy shit". And I said it, out loud. Twice. I really enjoyed this one.
