This film, despite the pacing and (some) plot issues, was filled with life and emotion. Delightfully fiery, crass and optimistic, and crushingly sad at the end. I enjoyed seeing how not only the Spanish Revolution was brought to life, but also how the issues among the anarchists, namely sexism, were criticised and portrayed through the lens of women fighters.

Also seeing fascists getting blown up was really fucking funny :)

Started out very strong, but started to weaken a bit after the 2/3 mark. Wasn't the biggest fan of stuff in the plot at that point, and it felt a bit directionless.

But yeah otherwise, stuff was great. Great acting, characterisation, crafting of emotions and smooth pacing in the first two thirds of the movie.

What an absolute mess of a film. Major character development happening in a dick joke, ultra advanced civilisations being broken by a regular human, fucken humpty dumpty, a subplot about an indigenous uprising given barely any thought or serious dedication, the quantum realm just feeling like a ripoff of the alien worlds in the GOTG movies...this is the very worst of the CGI overloaded, thinly plotted excesses of the MCU. At least it was pretty (sorta).
