The premise of this one is that Mammy Two Shoes sets up a fancy dinner, but leaves the room, allowing Tom to invite Toots over.

With a title like this, and such a basic premise (Tom uses a book to help him devise various traps to try and catch Jerry) , you'd expect this to be a fairly generic Tom and Jerry short.
But this short manages to capture pretty much everything great about Tom and Jerry.

I actually didn't rewatch this movie. My opinion of it has gotten so much worse over time that I can't give it a 3/10 anymore. It's terrible. And honestly? It's worse than Tom & Jerry: Willy Wonka.
