Sharing the life story  of Meyer “Lansky” was moving and captivating!  The film masterfully pieced together the power and connections of Lansky from his seat at the table of The National Crime Syndicates to the enforcers/assassins from Murder, Inc. The supposedly $300 million was never found! But what the casino industry has done over the years to make and change lives can’t be under stated!  I guess Mr. Lansky’s quote was true, “always hit them first!”

“Witness For The Prosecution“...Absolutely phenomenal performances by Dietrich (Mrs. Vole), Powers (Mr. Vole), & Laughton (Sir Wilfrid Robarts)! Laughton in his portrayal of Sir Wilfrid as the ill-fated, master barrister was fabulous and so very believable!  You just knew from the onset that he had all of the answers in the courtroom! Right? I mean how can anyone make a fool out of such a wise old legal eagle? I loved the twists and turns of the movie’s plot on who…
