  I cannot honestly call this a bad movie. It is good, but in a trite way. As a comedy it has its fun moments (after a very long and uninteresting set up), but this Gen Z Pretty Woman implodes on its false ending. Nothing felt more male gaze than the last scene, where out of nowhere Sean Baker finally masturbates to Anora's pain. Female humiliation is his fetish. It's as if Tarantino made you sit through three hours of Hateful Eight and then slapped on a scene of Jennifer Jason Leigh rubbing her feet for five minutes.
