It was nice to rewatch this movie having some better understanding of finance and economy.
It tells the story well, is satirical, acting is good, and narrative is clear and engaging.

Having said that, I found it incredibly sad. The comparison of bankers prior and during the crisis, the lack of responsibility on financial architects’ part, the Mark’s dilemma at the end and so on.

I just realised, how my mood was following the atmosphere in the film, getting progressively worse, even though the main characters for which I was rooting were eventually right.

Did not encourage me to join the world of finance.

    Not something I expected.
This film made me quite uncomfortable for the first 20minutes and I had rather hard time watching it. However, as it moved to the middle part, I found myself very captivated.

All 4 story lines were good, but I felt like Tokyo part was a bit detached from the remaining 3. I found the Mexican bit most interesting and I enjoyed it the most.

The narrative is very well crafted, it seemed somewhat chaotic first, but clarified nicely throughout.

I liked the general mood and the camera lead. The acting was also very decent.

    Good piece overall.

So many poorly written characters with no influence on the plot whatsoever. Absolutely no finesse in balancing main character. He is just kicking ass all film long. Nevertheless, I had the time of my life, somehow really enjoyed it and I think it is the future of casual cinema.
