The Great Gatsby 2013
A really great film with a compelling plot and some major plot twists. Although the start of the film was kinda weak in my opinion it really catches up after a bit. I loved the acting by Leonardo DiCaprio in his portrayal of Gatsby. The scenery was beautiful , as it portrayed a vivid 19th century New York and the aesthetics where spot on. Basically it’s a movie about exploring themes of love wealth and materialism through the eyes of Nick Caraway, a neighbor of Gatsby portrayed by Toby Maguire. Also loved the soundtrack (mainly because of the 2 Kanye West songs).
