Incredible film. Incredible soundtrack and sound design. The commentary was clear without being too overt. You manage to feel a connection to the chef despite little exposition. The tension throughout the ending is fantastic. The presentation is as well.

Some great scenes but Ridely ruins it again with silly sharks in a colloseum. Like when he had Napoleon bombing the pyramids, I don't mind historical inaccuracy, it's just unnecessary and unconvincing. The second half of the film rushes key character development as well. Still had some great moments but by no means a great film. Shout out Marcus Aurelius though.
