My girlfriend turned to me every time they said Silver Lining with the most disappointed look on her face, I need an edit of the movie where it cuts in with a title card Invincible style now.
My biggest gripe with this movie is that I didnt know that the whole Not Your Fault Bit from Family Guy was based on this so thats all I could think of during that sequence and I STILL cried.
It may be that I have a soft spot for kids, or friendships, or watching old wounds heal. But I cried more than I care to admit watching Klaus.
Klaus presents itself as a Christmas origin story, we watch as, through rumors, misunderstandings, and children attempting to rationalize and exceptionalize (made that word up please use it) the changing world around them, the mythos and icons of Christmas are born. One of the things that makes Klaus exceptional though is…
A must watch. Unequivocally.
9 to avoid recency bias, but I think its a 10.
