This is not a Mario movie—it’s paint-by-numbers animated slop full of that horrible self-aware quippy “Welllll THAT happened” type humor, with occasional Mario game references thrown in. They couldn’t even get the music right. How much amazing music has there been throughout all the games? And how much cool Mario lore is just out the window since they made the guy from fucking Brooklyn now??? They ruined basically everything that was fun or interesting or unique about the games by sticking it into this focus-grouped garbage. If they do this to Zelda I will lose it
