I'm constantly recommending this series because it did not get the attention it deserves! The mythos explored (no spoilers!) is so fascinating. And Cynthia Erivo made Holly much more interesting than the Holly in the books.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 2013
I really liked the first Cloudy movie; the humor and absurdity did right by me. This sequel feels great as a continuation of the characters' arcs. I think the baddie is a hilarious poke at Silicon Valley megalomania.

Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story 2024
They white-washed the boys, but the acting was decent. Javier Bardem and Chloe Sevigny were great as fucked up parents. The choice to lead the audience through the discovery of the sex abuse allegations at the same point that the public found out was effective.
