Black Bag is a film about secret agents, suspects, moles, and the journey to uncover the truth. The movie feels like an old-fashioned spy thriller, where explosions, car chases, and fast pacing are almost nonexistent. Instead, the film focuses on long discussions during dinner parties, mysterious trips, and secret double lives, all full of dialogue and conversation. However, the movie remains short and sweet, providing just enough detail to create a mysterious and complex atmosphere, resulting in an intriguing and…

Mickey 17 is one of those movies where the trailer is far more intriguing and compelling than the film itself, setting expectations sky-high.

The story behind Mickey is undeniably fascinating, and I would have enjoyed it even more if Robert Pattinson had spent more time narrating his life in that peculiar accent of his. His delivery adds a unique charm to the film.

Music biographies do not need to reinvent the wheel. Following a traditional linear narrative can be quite successful especially if the life of the singer is intriguing and interesting enough to allow for this.

Robbie Williams experienced great success, fame, hardships, depression, inferiority. This was attempted to show by presenting him as a monkey. This did not work for me but anyhow the movie did not fail to amaze and move me. The songs are smartly incorporated during the different parts of his life but they are not there just for the sake of the movie. They actually give depth and meaning to each scene.

What an amazing journey Miyazaki takes us through... Its obvious that a lot of things were crossing his mind when making the movie: about the hard world we are living in, how we can cope with it, what is our purpose in this world and many many more.

It doesn't matter though if you understand all messages / symbolisms or not. I sure didn't.

Just let yourself dive into the mystery, magical world that unfolds in front of you and be ready for an unforgettable experience.
