The Master 2012
The movie just comes off as pretentious and boring, with a story that goes nowhere. There are so many weird, pointless details that don’t add anything and feel totally unnecessary. While the actings was great, it couldn’t make up for the film’s awful storyline.

If you have a fiction narrative, be fiction, give us hints from the beginning; and on the flip side, if you’re aiming realistic, stick to it until the end. Although after a full hour of realistic narrative, having the Martin boy suddenly doing voodoo seemed out of context and quite frankly ridiculous.
