No Hard Feelings 2023
i saw this movie with my mom and she loved how hard jennifer committed to this role. i agree, and don’t even get me started on andrew barth feldman’s performance, bc he made this movie worth the rewatch.
i also really appreciate how this movie took inspiration from older rom coms and was able to keep the same humor without making a lot of the questionable moral choices that it’s predecessors have. fun movies can exist without having to make you feel disgusted by the end!

Silver Linings Playbook 2012
certain moments felt accurate enough when it comes to dealing with the struggles of bpd, but idk if this movie can even be close to a good representation of what it’s like to deal with bipolar disorder if the writers are going to have every other character be soooo insufferably misunderstanding and apathetic. it could be inaccurate, or maybe i just need to see a psychiatrist. still i enjoyed the movie because jennifer lawrence slayed as she always does.
