but anyway: this movie looked ridiculous right off the bat. none of the characters had any substance and the whole 'ooh scary forest' premise is just unoriginal. and the story goes nowhere for an hour until the plot twist. granted, it's unpredictable, but only because it's so wildly absurd. whatever point this movie was trying to make, it missed by a mile, because to me, this was just another cheap thriller condemning a promising cast to 90 minutes of stuttering pure nonsense.
